Levon Cade (Statham) was once a formidable soldier engaged in counter-terrorism as part of a collaborative effort between England and the United States. Now, having retired from that intense life, he has chosen a simpler existence in construction, particularly following the tragic loss of his wife. Levon shares custody of his young daughter with his critical father-in-law, facing legal challenges to retain his parental rights while striving to be the best father possible. His current support system consists of his boss, Joe Garcia (Michael Peña), Joe's wife, Carla Garcia (Noemi Gonzalez), and their daughter, Jenny Garcia (Arianna Rivas). Jenny holds him in high regard, so when she is kidnapped during a night out with friends, Levon cannot ignore the urgent requests from Joe and Carla to leverage his skills to rescue her.
After seeking the endorsement and encouragement of his former colleague, Gunny Lefferty (David Harbour), Levon embarks on his mission. As he confronts various adversaries and uncovers a human trafficking operation linked to the Russian mob, we witness Jenny bravely resisting her captors. It becomes evident that Levon will soon face a formidable opposition, yet with each display of his prowess, it is clear that nothing will deter him from locating Jenny and bringing her back safely.
