If Neeson had only occasionally ventured into the action genre in the past decade, "Absolution Lookmovie2" might have been perceived as a commendable yet inconsistent effort to blend typical action elements with a more relatable human narrative. Instead, the film feels like an overly lengthy and dramatically lacking piece that attempts to rise above the standard Neeson action flick but ultimately succumbs to that very formula. Having watched a significant number of his films, I can assert that this one stands out as one of the better entries in this peculiar subgenre. However, this observation reflects more on the generally poor quality of many of Neeson's action films over the years than on the inherent merits of this particular movie.
