Richard Linklater is the director to watch if you like indie films. His most recent film, Hit Man Lookmovie is a romantic comedy that is only partially based on a piece about Gary Johnson, a real person. Gary works part-time as an employee of the New Orleans Police Department and as a college professor. He unintentionally takes on the role of an undercover hitman, apprehending those who want to hire him to carry out a hit. As it happens, he excels at it. Here, Powell displays his acting prowess by taking on distinct personas for every arrest. However, he defies convention when he meets Madison. Powell must get along well with everyone he works with. He exudes an indisputable charm that appears to emanate from him to the entire group.
